Artist background and achievements...
Natasha studied Fine Art at Loughborough University 2020-2023. The focus within her work is derived from her fascination of the subconscious mind and her deep interest in what we as humans are truly capable of.
As a child, cartoons were her biggest inspiration and she would be in awe at how a drawing would come to life and tell a story. Natasha would take the extraordinary worlds of Studio Ghibli and Tim Burton and would allow that to fuel her fascination for how animation was made. For Natasha, storytelling is just as important as the visual aspect of her creations; they go hand in hand. One of her biggest achievements is making her own stop motion animations, showcasing an atmospheric charcoal stop-motion animated experience along with original paintings and drawings exhibited at her Fine Art degree show 2023, where she was extremely proud of the work and grade in which she achieved.
After university, Natasha exhibited at the South Derbyshire Melbourne Festival 2024 as part of the Emerging Artist Award. This opportunity opened up her world to the art community of Melbourne and she has an ongoing relationship with the artists at the Creative Melbourne Gallery where she became a part of the artist development scheme 'Spaces to Create' where she is a active artist, exhibiting within the gallery and at Melbourne Festival 2025. She took part in the Emerging Artist Award 2025 where she is exhibited a large, fineliner piece that she describes is one of her biggest challenges yet. For this piece she achieved runner up for the competition. During the South Derbyshire Melbourne festival, Natasha had a stall where she successfully sold some of her fine art prints and received commissions from customers for self-portraits.

Overall, Natasha’s biggest dream is to make a difference in the film or gaming industry as her belief is that the storytelling and visuals in these industries are not always up to standard. She is making steps towards this by consistently working and transferring her work to the digital art sphere. Natasha believes that by doing this, she will be closer to bringing authenticity back to these industries and therefore positive change.
